Personal Injury & Wrongful Death Oberdier & Oberdier, P.A., an AV rated firm by Martindale Hubbell, is a successor to the firm founded by Homer H. Humphries, Jr., in 1969. Ronald Oberdier joined the firm as a shareholder in 1987. Karal B. Oberdier joined the firm in 1991 and Jason K. Hutchinson joined the firm in 2005. Oberdier & Oberdier concentrates on representing institutional clients and individual clients in litigation involving serious personal injury and wrongful death.
What's New We are pleased to announce that Ron Oberdier has been selected by his peers to be included in the 25th Anniversary Edition of The Best Lawyers in America for 2008 in the specialty of Railroad Law. Inclusion in Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey that has been developed and refined for 25 years. Because no fee or purchase is required to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. The American Lawyer describes Best Lawyers’ annual, advertisement-free publication as “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.” This is Ron’s second consecutive year as a Best Lawyers selection. Karal B. Oberdier became a member of the Board of Directors of the ARC of Jacksonville, Inc. in January of 2008. Ron Oberdier was selected by Florida Super Lawyers as one of the preeminent attorneys in the field of Transportation/Maritime for 2006. He is one of only fifty-six lawyers so recognized in his field in the entire State of Florida. Florida Super Lawyers surveyed approximately 44,000 active lawyers and asked them to nominate the best lawyers they have personally observed in action. Those nominees are then evaluated based on peer recognition and professional achievement before submission to a Blue Ribbon Panel Review who makes the final selection. Jason Hutchinson recently attended the Masters in Trial Seminar sponsored by the American Board of Trial Advocates in Tampa, Florida. The seminar provided excellent training with exposure to some of the most accomplished trial lawyers in the State. Although no substitute for in-court trial experience, such seminars are a valuable learning experience and Oberdier & Oberdier maintains a commitment to exposing all of our professionals to quality training in their field. |
